Last May 31, 2013, I was given the chance to share my
knowledge in styling with every Filipino people. As a part of my interview, I
explained why I picked that certain look for each model. I was the one who
styled the guys (special thanks to Flying Dutchman and Skull Candy) and I co-styled with Ash Aquino for the
ladies.
Due to time constraint, I had to narrow down my explanation
on national television. Fortunately, I have this blog where I can explain fully
what I was supposed to say that time!
Look for model #1
This look is more of fashionable look where one could use it
for school and can still party or hit the mall after school!
A printed polo top, pastel jeans, brown shoes, and a
backpack (all from Flying Dutchman)
Look for model #2
Since we are in a country where the sun always says hi, I
opted for a “chill” look, probably one of the best ways to beat the heat.
A tank top, a (unbuttoned) polo, a pair of shorts, loafers
(Flying Dutchman) and beats (from Skull Candy)
Look for model # 3
Print on print! Very trendy! These are for the gals who feel
like dressing up to school. There should be no reason for you to stress out
when matching print on print. It’s about being creative, funky, and fresh!
Look for model #4
This is a more comfortable wear for the ladies. A flowy
dress paired with wedges! Tip: Make sure not too much skin is shown (at least
an inch for the straps, and please, no cleavage) Remember, you’re going to
school not to a party. Show your legs! But if you plan on going short, the
dress should have 2-3 inches gap between the end of your dress (skirt or
shorts) from your knee.
