The reason why I made this as the third fashion must-have for men is because men barely use cover-ups. If they do, it's either too big (which sometimes doesn't look good) or it doesn't match with their outfit.
A black, plain leather jacket, will match any top, any jeans/shorts, and any shoes. So there'll be no need for deciding whether it'll look good or not.
Also, a leather jackets gives you that bad boy/ badass look. Just throw in a pair of shades, loose pants, and dunks, and there you go.
For a cleaner yet still a tad badass, wear it with straight cut jeans, clean-look 'do, and sneakers.

Leather jackets surely are a must have for guys, military style ones is also a great alternative when you don't leather that much.
